Capitals Top Islanders 5-3

WASHINGTON, DC – April 1: Alex Ovechkin celebrates Mike Green’s goal that gave the Capitals their first lead of the game with less than eight minutes left in regulation. The Islanders started out with a two-point lead, but the Capitals answered with goals from Ovechkin and Keith Aucoin. After a third New York goal, Green notched two more for the Caps, giving them a 4-3 lead.
