Caps Fall in Ovechkin-Crosby Shootout

WASHINGTON, DC – MARCH 8: With the game tied at 3-3 at the end of regulation, the Capitals and the Penguins entered into overtime, which proved scoreless. After two scoreless rounds of a shootout, Sidney Crosby got one by Jose Theodore. Alex Ovechkin had the final scoring opportunity in the shootout, but could not deliver. Here, Brooks Laich dives to ensure the puck made it into the net early in the third period, setting the score at 3-2.
